How I Work
I work quietly, and I stay close. Most of a wedding day, for me, is watching — the two minutes after the ceremony when nobody’s performing yet, the look your father gives you before he lets go of your arm. I’d rather catch that than stage something prettier.
Before the Wedding
We usually start with a call, not a form. I want to hear how the two of you actually talk to each other before I ever pick up a camera. Most couples book six to twelve months out — earlier for April–June or September–October dates, when Marrakech fills up fast.
Planning
In the weeks before, I go through the timeline your planner sends — more than once. A wedding at Palais Namaskar in late-afternoon light is a different job from Agafay at golden hour with wind moving through the tents, and I plan around the actual place, not a generic checklist.
Wedding Day
I arrive while you’re still getting ready, before either of you has really settled into the day, and I stay through the first dances. Full-day coverage, start to finish — I’d rather be there too early than miss the ten minutes that mattered.
How I Photograph
Most of what I do is stay out of the way. I’m not calling out poses or resetting a moment because I missed it the first time — if I missed it, it’s gone, and that’s fine.
There are a few windows where I do step in — the couple portraits, the family formals — because those are the photos you’ll actually want to hang on a wall. I keep it brief, and you’re back to your day.
After the Wedding
A short set of preview photos goes out within days, while the day is still fresh enough to relive. That’s not the finished gallery — it’s just enough to hold onto while you wait.
Editing & Gallery
Editing, for me, is about color, light, and consistency across the whole set — not heavy retouching, and not chasing whatever look happens to be trending that year.
The full gallery is ready within eight to nine weeks, with a short preview sent out within days of the wedding. You’ll get a private online gallery with a print release, so you can download, share, and print everything freely.
Albums & Prints
A physical album isn’t part of every package by default — it’s something we talk through separately, based on what you actually want to hold in your hands a few years from now. I’d rather build one you’ll open than sell you one by default.
A Few Honest Answers
How many photos will I actually get?
On average, 50 to 100 edited photos per hour of coverage.
Do you also film weddings?
I work with a videographer on request — you can see real Marrakech wedding films on the videography page.
What if something goes wrong with your gear?
I shoot with backup camera bodies and lenses, so one failure doesn’t put the day at risk.
