Most couples plan their engagement session a few months ahead of the wedding, early enough to still feel spontaneous, late enough that you’re already picturing your day together. There’s no fixed rule here. Time of day matters more than time of year: the same light physics that shape golden hour on a wedding day apply just as much to an engagement session, the last hour before sunset tends to give the softest, most flattering light across the city.
Choosing a Location That Fits You
The right location depends more on what feels like you than on any single “best spot.” Some couples want the calm of a private riad courtyard. Others want the color and texture of a garden like Jardin Majorelle, and Cecillia and Pedro chose exactly that for their session.
