There was room to move throughout the session. Arms opened beside the pool, a jump from the wooden deck, a white dog joining the photographs. Vanessa and Soufian paused for portraits as a couple before coming back together with the boy for close embraces and photographs on the turquoise steps. The rocky landscape stays present, but the gestures between them lead the story.
A sunset proposal in the Agafay Desert
A red rug and leather cushions marked a quiet spot above the hills of the Agafay Desert. Soufian opened the ring box, Vanessa brought a hand to her face, and the family session became an engagement story. After the proposal came embraces, laughter and more photographs together, ending with the family’s hands around the ring and the desert in the evening light.
