Khera & Rainer | Indian Wedding at Fairmont Royal Palm, Marrakech

Khera and Rainer celebrated their Indian wedding in Marrakech, moving from the open landscape of Agafay to the gardens of Fairmont Royal Palm. Red and gold bridal embroidery, an arrival accompanied by drummers and dinner beneath the olive trees gave each part of the celebration its own setting.

Before the wedding: a celebration in Agafay

The celebration began with portraits among the hotel’s columns before the journey into Agafay. At the desert venue, Khera and Rainer arrived on camels and joined their guests and musicians. Later, lanterns lit the low dinner tables and colourful cushions. Red bangles and hanging gold ornaments accompanied Khera’s green embroidered outfit, and the dancing continued beneath strings of lights.

The wedding ceremony at Fairmont Royal Palm

The wedding morning moved between Khera’s makeup and jewellery and Rainer’s cream embroidered outfit. Drummers led the guests through the gardens, while Khera approached beneath a red and gold cloth. Inside, white drapes and flowers framed the ceremony. Afterwards, there was time for portraits together, flower garlands, sweets shared with guests and a departure in a decorated golf cart.

Dinner and dancing beneath the chandeliers

Pink and white flowers, candles and pale chairs filled the reception space beside the water. The couple returned in a white evening gown and dinner jacket, crossing the bridge before their first dance. The wedding cake, a fire performance and a crowded dance floor carried the evening into the night. Across the water, the illuminated pavilion reflected the last colours of the party.
