Sendy and Paul’s Beldi Country Club wedding followed a first day of celebrations in the Agafay desert. They brought their friends and family to Marrakech for the two days: music, dancing and sunset portraits in Agafay, then the wedding at Beldi.

Arriving in Agafay

The musicians were waiting as guests arrived. Sendy and Paul joined the celebrations in white, greeting friends before climbing onto the camels. The dancing had already begun.

The last light

Away from the guests for a little while, Sendy and Paul walked through the dry hills. The wind caught the fabric of her outfit as they moved. We stayed for a few close portraits before returning to the evening celebrations.

Henna and the first evening

After sunset, the party continued under strings of lights. There was a fire performance, a crowded dance floor, then the henna, with friends and family gathered close around Sendy and Paul.

Getting ready at Beldi

The next morning brought a change of setting. At Beldi Country Club, there was time around the pool before the wedding preparations. The dress, jewellery and flowers were ready; Paul joined his friends, while Sendy finished getting ready indoors.

The ceremony

Guests took their seats beneath the trees. Before the ceremony, Paul drew Sendy’s veil over her face. He held up the ring as she stood beside him. After the ceremony and the breaking of the glass, friends and family came forward to embrace them.

Just the two of them

With the ceremony over, Sendy and Paul had a little time together around Beldi. We made portraits beneath the flowers and along the garden paths.

Back on the dance floor

Inside, the tables were set beneath the arches. Once the music began, guests gathered around the couple, lifted them into the air and kept dancing. Sendy and Paul held each other close among their friends.
