Lucy & Tom | Wedding at Ksar Char Bagh, Marrakech
Lucy and Tom’s wedding at Ksar Char Bagh in Marrakech brought together a walk through the medina, a welcome dinner and a garden ceremony followed by a lively party. These three chapters follow the celebrations through photographs of the couple, their guests and the places they shared.
Before the wedding: portraits in the Marrakech medina
We began with a walk through the medina, stopping beneath arches, beside carved doors and among the colourful shopfronts of the souks. Lucy and Tom held hands, laughed and paused together in the sunlight. The photographs leave room for the streets around them: their textures, narrow passages and everyday details.

A welcome dinner in the gardens
The welcome evening moved from garden portraits to time with their guests. Musicians, Moroccan tea and lanterns became part of the story, alongside conversations and candid photographs around the tables. As the light faded, the illuminated garden gave the dinner a different atmosphere from the afternoon portraits.
The wedding at Ksar Char Bagh
The wedding photographs begin with quiet details around the palace and pool, Lucy’s preparations and Tom getting ready with his friends. Their arrivals on camels led into a ceremony on the lawn, where red rugs and patterned poufs surrounded an ornate garden doorway. Guests watched with fans and parasols as Lucy and Tom held hands, laughed and shared a kiss.
Afterwards, we made portraits beneath the olive trees, the flowering arches and the monumental brick entrance. A walk together in the evening light gave them a few moments away from the crowd before returning to their guests. The photographs then follow the petal shower, the group gathered beside the pool and the candlelit reception tables.
Under the glass roof, woven pendant lamps and olive branches framed dinner. Guests waved napkins, sang into microphones and filled the dance floor. Live music, confetti and illuminated wings carried the celebration into the night.
